Figs, Black Mission (14 oz)
Black mission figs are a bit smaller and sweeter than Calimyrna figs. These mission figs have a dark purple skin that appears black when dried, with a slight pinkish color on the inside of the fig.
The name “mission figs” comes from the Franciscan missionaries who planted them throughout California in the late 18th century. Mission figs are full of fiber and potassium!
